Fly 92.3 FM Radio

This morning on Fly 92.3, (our local Albany, NY radio station), they had their usual 'Dysfunctional Email'. (For those of you who don't know, the emails in the morning are usually peoples issues in life that they debate over with each other and callers.) In the email, a guy was saying how he's been in a relationship with his girlfriend for three months and cares about her deeply. They go out a lot, they're always hanging out and hardly ever get into an argument. Recently, his girlfriend confronted him and was very angry about how he hadn't changed his Facebook status from 'single' to 'in a relationship' with the girl. He wanted to know if three months into a relationship was too soon to be saying that he was in a relationship with this girl on Facebook.

Jim and Brian said that he was not committed in he relationship and that he doesn't like the girl that after three months he hasnt changed his status. I don't agree and neither did Krisy. (They are the people on the radio station.)

Krisy and I both agreed that he doesn't have to change his status if he doesnt want to, three months is a little too soon to be in a serious committed relationship with someone and thinking about Facebook as your relationship is a little immature. Changing your status on Facebook isnt something a lot of people (including myself) think about.
I was in a relationship with my girlfriend Kandy for over a year before we even posted things on Facebook about being in a committed relationship, that obviously didn't bother us. I think that it's just seriously immature of this girl to be so upset at her boyfriend for not changing his status on the site.

Do you agree with me that her actions are out of line?
Or do you agree with all the men that the emailer doesn't care for the relationship hes in?

TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS!!! :D
